I am trying to get a G9SP taking over serial to a NX1P2 using a NX1W-CIF01.  I have the details in Manual P545-E1 and it uses a example file which i am unable to locate OMRON_G9SP_SERI232_LD_EV100.SMC I have got the coms working with a CP1L using the example in Manual Z922-E1.  I was wondering if anyone has the example file or a working example they can share for Sysmac Studio. The serial comms will take a little bit to get going but it is the code for the checksum for the sending data that i would rather not have to translate from CX Programer fort he CP1L to Sysmac Studio......   3. MX2 Modbus doubt

    Hi there! I'm programming a CP1L-E CPU to control 3 3G3MX2 inverters via Modbus. It got some things right, like the INV002_Refresh_X31 block and its parameters. The thing is, I also want to read some parameters from the inverter using the INV206_ReadParameter block. My doubt is, do I need to be careful so both blocks don't execute at the same time and use the serial port at the same time? Is it better to use one INV206_ReadParameter block for each parameter I want to read? Thanks in advance!
  4. mx2 control with modbus

    Hi all im back to trying to get my inverter to work but this time with modbus, from this post http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/38445-controlling-mx2-inverter-without-modbus/ and im stumped, im sure its just one thing somewhere messing it up i have a cp1l-el20 with a cp1w-cif11 and a 3g3mx2 inverter and am attempting to control it via modbus, it is wired up as follows, sp+ to RDB+, sn- to RDA-, common to the plc pin and plc output pin 100.00 to logic input 1. im using 100.00 to put it into run mode the paremeters ive put in are a1=3,a2=1, a4=50, c070=3, c071=5,c072=1, c074=00, c075=1, b27=1. im using MOV to set my speed to d1001 attached is my inv002_refresh x31 fb thanks to any1 who can see my silly mistake    
  5. NT21 to CP1L-EM

    I am trying to get a NT 21 to link to a CPL1 I have both set to Host link 9600/7e2 I have it set to read a DM All I get is system initialzing I am using the same cable i used to build the screens with NT Series Support tool I sent and recieved the screens so the cable works The com port on thee PLC is flashing I have tried starting the PLC in run mode and Monitor Mode What did i forget to do ???????   6. Hello everyone    I am working on modbus TCP protocols to communicate between SEW drive and Omron PLC CP1L-EM. I am following modbus TCP function block from Omron, But i have updated that block because of is not fit to SEW modbus communication. Currently, I am sending a control work to SEW but I am getting error on Modbus TCP from SEW drive, which is invalid data. So I am looking your help is you work with SEW drive before and communicate over modbus, then please let me know how to make a data string for read and write (SEW Drive function 23). I am using 3PD data structure.    Thank you
  7. Hello friends, I am an Omron PLC user, but have never used modbus before. I have to connect an Omron CP1L-m to Beckhoff bk7300 via modbus serial gateway. 2-wire RS-485 connection (CP1W-CIF11). I have seen an easy to use Modbus RTU master for CP1L CP1H CJ1 CJ2 CS1 but the examples are not for dual port CP1L-m. If I change the PLC model "CP1HCP1LModbusDualPort" to "CP1L-M", the compiler tells me a lot of warnings about variable types. Is Modbus RTU Master easy to use for CP1L CP1H CJ1 CJ2 CS1 compatible with CP1L-M dual port (port 2)? I have tried to use it but it didn't work, error 02, illegal function code. Hello guys I am a beginner in FINS TCP communication and I am trying to do a FINS TCP communication between an omron PLC CP1L-E in client mode to communicate with my PC that is in server mode, I am using the SocketTest v3.0.0 program that is in listening mode and still was unable to receive any information from the CLP, can you help me?   9. Hello, I've been using Mitsubishi and Omron systems separately (in their own environment), and I am fairly new when it comes to connecting these two brands together(plc and hmi). I've been scouring the net for wiring diagrams for the cable connections and also the parameters to be set for a successful communication between those two components. can anyone point me at the right direction as everything I've tried so far has been a failed attempt of making these two communicate. here are the parts and my current settings if this helps: FX3U-64M FX3U-232-BD NB5Q-TW00B or better yet, is there a proper cable that I need to buy for this to work?
  10. Serial communication with KINCO PLC

    Hello to everyone. Nice to meet you all. I am programming a KINCO PLC model HP043-20DT using ladder on KINCO BUILDER. I need to establish a serial communication with my PC. The PLC has a RS485 port which I adapted it to USB to connect with my PC. The PLC allows, at least, two ways to establish serial communication: MODBUS or free-protocol. I've read the software manual and tried to reproduce the examples it provides using the instruction blocks for MODBUS (MBUSR and MBUSW) and free-protocol (XMT and RCV) communications. However, I could not receive the data on the PLC. I could effectively transmit data with XMT from the PLC to the PC and I could verify through a tool called Access Port. In relation to MODBUS, I am using a simulation tool called Multiway from OMRON, however, I get no response from the PLC. If any of you have some experience with this software or this device, I would like to ask you how could I solve the problem. Thank you for your attention. Kind regards.
  11. Memory registers on KINCO PLC

    Hello to everyone. I hope you are doing well. I have a KINCO PLC HP043-20DT. I'm communicating through free-protocol instructions XMT and RCV. The manual states that memory registers SMB86, SMB186 and SMB286 contain information about the state of the reception instruction. I would like to ask if any of you know of the existence of an analog register but with respect to the transmission instruction, instead of the reception. The manual does not indicate it and I could not find any information online. I've sended an email to the manufacturer but, until now, I have not receive any answer. Otherwise, how could I search for this information? I tried through the manual providede by the manufacturer, but maybe there is other way. I would appreciate any information. Thank you so much.     Hello. I have CP1L EM30 with unknown IP. I have tried to use "Direct Ethernet Connection" with "Network Browser" but with no success. I have manually set the ethernet IP4 address to 192.168.20.20 / 255.255.255.0 I've got error: "The OMRON Ethernet Direct Connection Manager service is starting in Safe Mode because Windows APIPA is enabled. (0x82020003)Omron.Cxmw.Modules.SystemLibrary.SysLibException" The PLC does NOT have default ip 192.168.250.1. What Can I do? Please help. Thanks. BR, Andrej.  
  13. CP1L PLC network communication error

    Hello all,   I have a master PLC(CJ2M) which is communicating with slave 4 slave PLCs(CP1L). one of the PLC have communication error, upon checking in cx-intergrator it shows that all the other slave PLCs and other components are connected to network-1 and faulty PLC is connected to network-0. Unfortunately, I couldn't change it as cx-intergrator doesn't allow me to change download the changes. So anyone can please help me with this issue.   18. Hello there, Today i have commissioned my first project with OMRON make PLC. Model: CP1L-EM40DT1D. (CX-Programmer) I have 2 built in 0-10V Analog Inputs on the plc. for analog input no-1 i get the digital value of 0-1000 in specific plc register address corresponding the 0-10V. (Factory setup) But today on site, i have noticed that some miner value of 0 to 50 is always coming and fluctuating very fast in that register, however the transmitter are genetaring 0.0V only (I have checked using digital multimeter with high precision) PLC and Transmitter are already grounded and all the cable connections are tight as well. so how to overcome this high fluctuating value ? is there any setting to filter the input ?

I am using Omon "CP1L-EM40DT1D" PLC controller for a cut-to-length type of application. for the measurement of length, I am using an inbuilt high-speed counter 0.   Now the problem, when the status of PLC changes from Power off to Power On the high-speed counter starts from 0. How to hold the pulse value of HSC0 at power restart ?    (I am using Differential Rotary Encoder, not absolute)

HI All,  I have an issue with my SCU32 communication.  Back ground Two SCU32s  (top and bottom side) connected via a 1100M datacable  using port1 ( 9600bps,  8-2-E, start code FF, end code FE, Tx save to d1000-d1200 , Rx save to d2000-d2200). PORT2 of bottom SCU32 is connected to a compass( 2 wire, 8-1-N, 19200 bps, serial gateway MODBUS ). Refer to photo Issue  Without compass, the receiving data at top is very stable and is didn't see any fluctuation. But if is compass is connected at bottom side port2, there is a fluctuation at the top side RX data(specifically d2000-d2005 ) .  I checked the data a bottom side TX (d1000-d1200) and it is stable. Only after sending the data and Receiving at Top side, then only the starting words fluctuate. I am not sure sure what is wrong, I am using logical ports for the DTXDU/DRXDU and compass.   Appreciate all your feedback and suggestions.

  22. Hello all, I am working on a project where I am communicating with a Mensor CPT6100 pressure transducer using a Micro-850 PLC. For this, I have used an AWA instruction to write some ASCII characters to the sensor. The sensor then responds to the write instruction by sending ASCII characters to the RX buffer and I used ACB and ARD instructions to read the ASCII characters. Now, I have set the ACB trigger type to 0 (msg triggered only once) and it successfully reads from the sensor. However, when I set the ACB trigger type to 1 (msg triggered multiple times), I do not get any reading in the ARD block. As a matter of fact, the ACB Q bit switches off every time the program is executed when the trigger type is set to 1. I am trying to get continuous readings from the sensor, but when the trigger type is set to 0, the program latches on to the first and only reading and it won't change. My question is, how can I change my program so that it can continuously and autonomously read from the sensor without me having to manually trigger the AWA and ACB instructions every time.   24. Hello. Is it possible to hard reset (power cycle) the CP1L-E cpu unit using software? I'm having difficulties, because when you configure IO MAD42 card via CIO registers, you have to power cycle the PLC. The problem is, that I remotely configure the PLC. If I put PLC to program then to run mode, the configuration fails to update. Is there some kind of BIT to do "virtual" power cycle? Thanks.
  25. Hey Everyone,   My company decided to purchase a piece of equipment from China, and I have the pleasure of updating its terrible existing controls. We were given the PLC program by the manufacturer, so I was able to make my changes pretty easily - or at least that would be the case if I could actually connect to the dang thing. The source program is indeed openable and editable via GX developer (the original configuration shows it as an FX3). I figured connecting should be straightforward, but I was wrong.    I initially used a serial/usb converter that I've used on some older Allen Bradley equipment (which worked fine for that). However, after no luck using it on the "Mitsubishi", I purchased a different cable that I found recommended on this forum (Tripp Lite USA-19HS - https://www.alliedelec.com/product/tripp-lite/usa-19hs/70101537/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAj9iBBhCJARIsAE9qRtB_n8TVAnJdFyYokoEu42W6H6LaT4kVsgJQI1qvPUsUF3rFviKpbt0aApLHEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds). Still, no luck. I've tried 7E1 and every baud rate possible, as well as some other bit/parity configurations (and yes, I've verified that I'm using the right com port, as well as tried moving the converter to different ports and trying those). Nothing seems to go through.  I have almost no experience with Mitsubishi beyond a couple of FX5s (which have worked fine, but I connect to those via ethernet). Any help would be greatly appreciated; if I can't make these changes, I'm going to end up rebuilding the whole cabinet with a PLC I can rely on.   Thanks in advance.
