  2. Hi. I'm hoping someone can give me an answer on this problem I'm having with a FX3GE PLC. I am trying to get a FX3GE plc to communicate to a drive over RS485 using a FX3G-485-BD card. In GXworks2. But am having no luck.  I have tried changing the PLC communication settings in PLC parameters between CH1 and CH2, But am unable to get any communication working on the front port. I have also tested with a FX3G-232-BD RS232 card and have the same problems. There is no activity on the SD RD led's and no data being sent. If I put the FX3G-485-BD card in a FX3G or FX3S PLC I have running the same code it works fine. So the problem I'm having is with the FX3GE PLC Please can someone tell me what the difference is with the front Communication port on the FX3G and the FX3GE. And how I can get the FX3G-485-BD card working on the FX3GE PLC. Thanks
  3. Hi there! I need to set up a communication link between an FX3GE PLC and a Melfa RV-2F-D robot with a CR750-D controller. Can I use the PLC's built in ethernet port for this? Is there a native driver for this (i.e. to read a register from the PLC into the robot controller)? Or should I use some kind of a no protocol communication? We also have a GT1455 in the setup and had in the past a solution where the robot was talking to an FX3U trough the HMI, but there was a lag in the communication which I would like to avoid. I am new to Mitsubishi so please bear with me. Thanks!
  4. Program Notes & Comments

I used to use the Old Dos based MEDOC very many, many, years. I havn,t programmed for years now. We have GX Works 2 at work, and I am practicing programming an FX 3G - 40M to try and keep my hand in. Allthough I can write and read the program ok, the PLC keeps saying that it has no memory for the comments. Apparently the memory has to be set on the PLC. Any advice or information links will be appreciated
  5. FX3G-2AD-BD Store Peak Value

Good day, I'm new to this forum and to mitsubishi PLC but was hoping for some assistance with a programming issue. I have been through the hardware and programming manuals without luck for this issue. Hardware: FX3G-60mt FX3G-2AD-BE Settings: Structured ladder/FBD Current input mode on: M8260 (first board, first input)   What I need to do is to record the peak value over a cylinder stroke period. The hardware manual explains how to average the value using averaging time, however I basically need to peak hold and send that to a D register for go no-go compare.    Process as follows: Contact closed, monitor D8260, contact open, move peak value from D8260 during monitor duration to D205.    Thanks in advance for any assistance. -Swervomotor

  11. Hello again! This time I have issues with PWM Block in GX Works 2. Im using it to control output for Rudder Machine. S1 Time is Pulse time S2 is response wait time. I follow the rules that S1, S2 cannot be zero, N2<N1. I compile and run the program. Everything is ok, program works perfectly. Sometimes when I modify instructions in PWM Rung - i get an error No. Result Data Name Class Content Error Code 4 ERROR POU_01 Program compile Invalid list code 'PWM D992 D990 M1524'(Ladder Block No.7) F0161 I pinpoint that I use 2 block of PWM one for each side. They cannot work at the same time. See attachments with code Thank you in advance!
