  3. I have a 1747-L30B SLC Brick and it is set to load from EEPROM on boot S:5/8, Error S:1/10, and Run S:1/12. I need to make changes to the program and then store it to EEPROM via "Comms>EEPROM>Store to EEPROM."  When I attempt to store the program with changes, it displays the message "Insufficient Memory Module Size." I assumed the EEPROM memory was maxed out, but I also uploaded the existing program currently stored to EEPROM, made no changes, and attempted storing it back to EEPROM and received the same message. Any advice?

    Hi, I was wondering if anybody could post a photo of the Logicmaster 6 IBM PC keyboard translator chart? This is a 'tear out' page from an appendix in the Logicmaster 6 programming manual. The 'Logicmaster 6 Programming and Documentation Software User Guide' Appendix C refers to this chart as follows: "This appendix contains a keyboard translator chart to use with the IBM-PC, PC-XT, PC-AT, or IBM-compatible personal computer. The chart has been printed in triplicate to provide you with extra copies. The sheet has also been formatted so that you can remove each copy of the chart from the manual for easier reference." All the hard copy manuals I can find have this keyboard chart removed and online pdf copies do not show this page. your help would be appreciated.

  9. Hi All, I have a tiny Chinese controller all in one with 2 line text display. The documentation is not proper. GX Developer supports to program the devise. The devise is compatible to FX2N(C). Have any one in the forum used this type? I am not able to read its analog inputs AD0 and AD1 channels since I do not know which instruction I should use. I tries RD3A instruction but the PLC does not start. I attach a picture of the devise.     Hi One of my friend want use more analog output on his vfd. Its a Mitsubishi FR-A740 type. Currently the AM signal is for current, but he needs the speed and frequency too.  As we saw its only one analog output is avaiable, but you guys might know better. Can someone confims our theory.   Thank you.
  11. I'm editing a dual language project for an NA5 HMI. It's working fine except for the message at startup. To modify the project I've had to update the firmware on the HMI. I'm using Sysmac Studio 1.15. Startup language seems to be set correctly. Any ideas?

Hi,I want to read transducer signal on PLC.I am using 7kg60008ab/nn transducer and it's analog (4-20mA) output is connected with analog meter.Can I connect the transducer current output (4-20mA) signal to PLC analog input in series with analog meter display???So that I can read the value on PLC simultaneously with analog meter?
  16. Q-Series - Operation Error 4100

    Hi guys. I found error on PLC and from PLC diagnostic I found this Operation Error 4100 as per attach picture. FYI, there is no SD card mount onto this PLC. I wonder what is ATA card. This error wont affect the operation. Any advise on what to check?   This ladder is pop up when I clicked, error jump.   Thanks.
  17. Hi, So I have a problem, that BootP DHCP server doesn't find my 1734 AENTR series B and so I can't assign IP address to it. Been trying many things. Any advice? I'm new to AB and I guess it may be a really easy thing but so far I didn't find a solution.

    hi im new to omron and ladder. im trying to get the mombers from a analog input to be shown on a hmi screean how is tis done? i have sett up the hmi screan and tested with making a button that acts like a start button but i cant get the numbers from the analog inn to show on my (nummber innput component) in nb_designer pliz help btw plc = cp1L-L14DR-A with a CP1W-AD041 analog module.

  21. unit of time in D8284

    Hello PLCmaniaccccssss, What is the unit of time in 'average time for the channel -1' (D8284) while programming for analog inputs? I have moved k10 to D8284 in my program in gxworks 2, does that mean the time average will be taken for 1Sec or 10msec or any other time unit??? I require this to eliminate the flickering of the input from the load cell transmitter. Thanks and God bless!!!
  22. Hello all,  I have a temperature sensor with a reading range of 10F to 212 . The input card I am using is an Allen Bradley 1734 IE8C 8 Channel Analog current input. The current input values are 4-20 mA. Currently I have my raw low at 4000 and raw high at 20000. Can anyone explain how do we go about selection of this values ? I found these values in the configuration tag of the input card properties.  Thank You

I am new to automation systems and devices and I just want to know how to connect two HMI's (each one would control different things) to one PLC using Sysmac Studio and NB-Designer via Ethernet. The model of the PLC is NX1029020 and the HMI's are one NB10W-TW01B and an NB7W-TW01B. I searched for info about this topic online but I couldn't find anything that worked for me, I saw an article from OMRON where they connect two NB's to the CP series, but in my case, NB designer doesn't allow me to insert more than one HMI in the same project, I also found something similar on a youtube video that gave me an idea about how to connect multiple HMIs exporting the pks file and importing it to another HMI project but I still can´t figure out how to add both to my PLC. I would thank you a lot if you could help me with this because I know it's not a rare implementation, just I haven´t found the right way to do it.     I have plc mitsubishi A2USHCPU-S1 and there is already a program in it. The problem is, the analog input data doesn't want to be saved. How do i find the analog address instructions? Can anyone help?
  25. Q and iQ-R series

      Hello,  I want to know, if it is worthwhile to transfer from Q series to iQ-R? Currently our equipment is using Q series, which ss a vacuum coating equipment with about 10 power instruments, 20 gas controllers, and pumps and so on. As for the analog and X, Y points, Q is quite capable.   I can not see any advantage to switch to iQ-R, but some people want to. So I want to know,       1. will Q be outdated in the near future?       2. will use iQ-R cost much more than Q? including peripheral units.       3. has iQ-R really been widely adopted?       4. thoug iQ-R may be powerful, I think use multiple middle size CPU's can be more advantageous,              is this right?
