I also use convert... but thanks robh for such a comprehensive list... mabey you should add it to the computer section..->. useful stuff..

Thanks for the link. Bookmarked it. I use convert also, but for a more comprehensive converter I use http://www.onlineconversion.com/

What most people who use Convert don't know is you can add up to 20 custom linear conversions yourself, at Options > Preferences > Custom. Once added they appear under the "custom" tab. Handy for adding that particular conversion that is common for your line of work

the only trouble with that is - that's all you can do (just multiplication, there are no other operations, addition or subtraction would be needed for offsets for example even if you stay in realm of linear functions...)
