7 posts in this topic

OK, another question for you GE Guru's Have a 90-30, customer was using Cimplicity. I was using Versapro and and upgraded to Proficy. I imported the Versapro folder into Proficy, went online and UPLOADED the program (as well as h/w, etc.) Still getting a Logic NE. Will I need to download the program into the processor? Thanks, bob

Only if you want the bottom line to say "Logic Equal".

You could have an exact copy of the same program in four different GE flavors: LogicMaster VersaPro Cimplicity Proficy and in EACH ONE, you must download to the CPU. It downloads the "extra" stuff that pertains to the software you are using, as it was once explained to me.

You have to be carefull if the old application is a hotbackup using Maxon. This requires tech support help and some experimentation. Beware! before converting to the new software.
