    Hi ahuat. You can make some PLC code for counting pulses and calculate the flowrate. But if you are going to use the flowrate for som PID control a F/I converter is the best way to go. You then have filter option. It give you a smooth flowreading. You can also use the mA signal for a counter. Banker

    IF you open the same instance 2 times at the same time. I can happen that the CMD files can be damaged And you are not able to open the project again before replacing the CMD files. It has happened for me a couple of time. I also thing it shall only be an option you can select / deselect Banker

    Just got a confirmation from Omron. The price for the NSJ12 with Profibus and Ethernet ca. 500 EU. Lower than NS12 with Ethernet. They are giving away the CPU and Profibus and still it is about 500 EU cheaper. Banker

    Hi I normally use CX-supervisor and CJ1 PLC. Now I have a project with a NS terminal, but I can see that the NSJ12 with Profibus and Ethernet is cheaper than the NS12. Is there any limitations on the NSJ12 compare with the NS12? BS Banker

    Hi Not started to use CXS ver.2 yet. But for ver.1.3x 1. Make an option so you can control where the Alarm pop screen appear on the "main" screen. (use full when working with dual monitor ) 2. Make an option for disable CXS to start 2 times at the same time. Banker

    Hi Can somebody help me, I have to swap some bytes. I have made commonication with a weighing transmitter via profibus. The weight signal is a 32 bit Dint signal. But i have to swap the bytes (4) as followring: SWAP DINT Byte O MSB Byte 3 Byte 1 ---------------> Byte 2 Byte 2 Byte 1 Byte 3 LSB Byte 0 I'am using a CJ CPU. Regards, Banker

    Thanks The problem is in the CXSupervisor V1.3 it works in all my other programs with older versions (1.22) I have got at update/fix from Omron for this problem same with a fix for the problem with the Logviewer V1.8 Banker

    Hi I have been upgrading my CXsupervisor to ver. 1.3 (from 1.22) and now I got a new problem I have not seen before. I Have some text point that contain time stamp. eg. 12:10 I transfere this textpoint point to Excel Via DDE poke. But in Excel 12:10:22 change to 12:01. I have tryed to change format in excel but nothing helps me. Anyone seen this problem? Banker

    I think i will use profibus with VIPA Remote I/O's but in this situation i don't have any idea for configurating the Profibus. Normally i use CX-ONE programming suite but i think for configuration of the bus i need CX-profibus, am i correct? Yes you will have to use CX-profibus, this is included in CX-One. From VIPA you can get a GSD file. You will also need at Omron profibus master card CJ1W-PRT21. It is a good idea to by a "real" profibus cable and connector. Siemens have a Sub 9 pol. In this you can make daysi chain and there is also resistor for the end connection. You don't need any software settings for the profibus card. Set the Unit No. ex 0. Then Card Add. starts form CIO 1500. Banker

    Hi What about using AB Remote I/O and still use deviceNet. I'am using Profibus CJ1W-PRM21 (master). You will need CX-profibus to setup the comms. Profibus works very god for me. It is very fast. I'am reading/writing 16 PID controllers at 10-15 mSec. You will need a GSD file for the IO card. This GSD file you can import into CX-profibus. Regard Banker

    Oh Oh I'am sorry. It was just a site i got from omron. I was was thinging it was a free opdate site for there software. By the way. Is this Opgrade for CXsuper 1.3 for free when i have a CX- 1.22 development? Banker
