Loggin with autosave

Hello. I have search the forum and i have made an excelfile there is logging data from and cjm13 on ethernet, using cx-server and DDE, the excel file is taken from an allen bradley forum, and converted to omron. It logs data at a given interval Do anyone have a simple idea of saving the data at a given time, fx. saving the logged data every 24h in af file called fx. 010307 (1st of martch 2007), and then erase the array and start loggin from the beginning again? And can i save this file as a .txt file Morten from denmark

Look into macros and writing your own VB scripts to do this.... Your first start would be to record a macro to give you the basic command & structure to compltet the task...
