What a great game to play for the engineering mind. My daughter is 10, and she has better ideas than me building contraptions. You can save your designs and share them, but don't look at other concepts until you've tried it yourself. http://fantasticcontraption.com/index.php Spring for the $10 bucks. Worth it to me...LOL..

My son {now 18} has had a CD version very similiar for years. I'll get the name tonight. Also check out "logical journey of the zoombinis" if you like puzzles and math/geometry.
