pid mode auto-manual not complete

I had used fb-pid for control my process ( pulp & paper) for replace to used lcb-05 because i have loop control about 20 loops ( lcb-05 can use 500 loop).I see problem about fb-pid . It have not bumpless during I change mode manual to auto .Output of PID will swing about 2-3 minute because mv value don't start from mv manual although I will set sp-value equal pv-value . This problem don't appear when i used fb-pid of cx-process tool because it have function bumpless . I try to solve this problem but it is not success. please help me this problem thanks you anyone sathaporn srisawat from thailand

Hi sathaporn Don't think Omron PID instruction have real bunpless transfere yet. One of the reason there is somthing called cx-prosess lcb-05??? . PID is not Omron's strongest point in the PLC. look at Siemens and AB. fare better. in PID Banker

Banker, I have only a little exp with the AB PID, does it have bumpless transfer from Man to Auto Mode ? Omron uses Proportional Band rather then a direct gain constant although the two are interchangable, however I believe that this leads to confusion in that nearly all literature etc refers to the Gain. I developed a PID function block which makes it easier to enter paramters...etc.. Also.. I do like the Autotune function of the Omron PID function.

hello all, if i understand well the problem my suggestion is to copy the feedback and when you want to go to manual don't do it instead move the coped value and the pid re manes still.
