Thanks JesperMP, but an other my target was to understand if, based on the described symptoms, I can say to my customer that the CPU is damaged. Now I cannot try nothing more, because the CPU was delivered to service. When the unit will be returned, I will communicate you what happened. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Thanks for your answer. The CPU was working with the actual firmware, then it has stopped, so before to change the unit, I had to recover the program and the configuration inside the faulted CPU. But there was not way to perform the operation, due the reported error. I think that the CPU is damaged, I will try to investigate more. Regards.

Dear All, I need to perform a backup of CPU 312 6E67-312-1AE13-0AB0 V2.6.4. My Step7 is V5.4 (about the mentioned CPU I have only V2.6, not V2.6.4). So, as usually, I create a new project, then I try to transfer the program from PLC to PC. Obviously, the connection is working, I see the CPU, but after few seconds of connection I receive the message "D241 function not allowed in the actual protection level" (Message is in Italian). The help to message, 33:53825, refers to password protection (but I know that there isn't password) or key switch not in STOP, but it is in STOP. Other remarks: - actually the CPU is in fault state, not in run. - I am sure that the direction of transfer is PLC->PC - I see as loaded in EPROM all the program blocks, but trying to open OB1 online, I receive a message like "not possible to open". But the strange is that I only wish to read PLC, not write! Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to download program comments (or other kinds of documentation) inside the 314..315 cpu? I know that it is not possible, but it is better to ask. My interest is for 314-1EA04-0AB0 or 315-1AF03-0AB0 Thanks

Hi, I have modified this post, because somethings have changed in a few of hours. The actual problem is to translate a COROS file (OP15C panel) to ProToolPro 6.0 SP2. Sorry for my english, thanks.

Hi Friends, thanks for reply. Ok for indexing and comment capability.

Hi, loocking for the better way to program Mitsubishi PLC Q01, I like the D device because I can use the single bit (D0.0....D0.F) like others PLC (Siemens M0.0...M0.7) or Omron (HR0.0...HR0.15) or Allen Bradley SLC500 (B3/0...B3/15), for example. Also, I can move an entire value in a D device with a MOV instruction. I know that D device isn't latched, like M device. But now I say: why M device exists? Is it more powerful than D for something? I ask because this is the first time I program Mitsubishi, and I don't want, when program finished, change all my "D" whith "M". Thanks.

Hi panic mode, I downloaded the right manual and now I understand. Thanks.
-
Hi Panic Mode, thanks for your reply. Please read carefully that I wrote in the first post (sorry for my English). Also, look the attachment, it come from a PDF about QD75M. I read Md.19="AXIS IN WHICH..." and Md.9="Time ecc...". I need a confirm about the right indication of those parameters. Thanks.
-
Hi, The Md.19 parameter is explained in the same manual in two ways. In a section, it is "Axis in which the error occurred", in another it is "No. of write accesses to flash rom". Also, Md.9 is "Axis in which...". What is the right interpretation? Thanks.

Thanks, Guest. The problem is solved.

Hi, I need the programming manual for Q01 CPU with some examples of use. The better of all pdf documentation that I have downloaded on Mitsubishi site is only a list of instructions, without explanations or examples. Please, if somebody knows a link, tell me it. Thanks
