HI EVERYONE I need help regarding panel view . I like to know if I can find related bit to message/ alram displayed . I go to TOOLS, TEXT EDITOR, I see all messages but I wonder there is a method to find a bit associated to a particular message. Thanks a lot

HI As example I want to move any constant number say ( # 234567 ) to memory location such as HR 15 .My question is :where is this constant number in memory location when is downloaded to plc processor. HI AGAIN (RSLINX 2.42 and 1747-pic to serial port com 1 with windows xp) as mentioned no problem with windows me. these are the mesages I get running windows xp: 1 The system you are installing for this hardware AB PIC/AIC+.... HAS NOT PASSED WINDOWS LOGO testing to verify its compatability with windows xp. 2 fatal error initializing PIC device driver. swap driver ( ) failed to swap in the new PIC driver try restarting RSLINX when restarted the same thing happens. in addition driver is installed AB-PIC-1 DH 485 STN :0 COM 1 is always stopped and can not be changed to running condition

Thanks guys for the response Just to remind you when I connect the system to laptop (windows me ) with serial port I have no problem at all, but connecting to desktop with windows xp and serial port all fun starts . Thanks once again
