HI I have migrated panel builder 32 application into factory talk view machine edition version 6.1 and I have problem . My problem is that screens numbers are not in order, First screen # is 1 the second screen is 12 the third is 6 and so forth. The FTVME does not allow me to correct the screens number based the original application in panel builder 32. Please let me know if you have had this experience and what would the correction method (if any), or it does not really matter if the screen numbers are not in order but application still would run on PV PLUS terminal. I want to delete some *mer file IN FACTORY TALK VIEW MACHINE EDITION. I have created mer file of the same application with different names. I have looked some of the AB documentation as well as internet but so far nothing. Thanks for the help

HiI have already done as documented in Omron manual instruction and it is there and no question mark and no unknown devices.It is very strange that can not communicate with processor . What type of cable do you have ,mine is the one that commercially available in market (type B) . Thanks again

HI I have tried few times to go on line with SYSMAC CP1E PLC (usb termina). I have followed the manual , usb driver successfully installed but Communication with plc just keep failing. I have uninstall and install usb driver a few time but no luck with communication .I am running win xp with sp1. Any advice Thanks a lot.

hi I have installed usb driver correctly based on OMRON instruction on two laptops and results are the same with the message:FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE PLC. Is it possible that usb cable is bad and how to verify it. Thank you.

HI I did upload the NS program and the file is the same.My guess is that message is generated with with the stop command.How do see the all the messages (status or warnings) in NS .Thanks Mike

Thanks again you are right, it is quite possible that the ns program may not be latest version one. I will have access to machine tomorrow morning ,then I will upload it and let you the results.Mike

HI which method is preferable: 1- connect the devices (solenoid valves, contactor, lights, ........) direct to plc output using a fuse in series with it. 2- connect a relay directly to plc output and then activate the output devices by this relay . I have seen both methods mike

HI I just noticed my desktop does not have any serial port so I bought a cheap serial to usb cable ( about 5 dollors) but I can not go on line using win xp. I did not have any problem with my previous desktop having serial port. Any advice . Thank you so much.
