If you enable the output channel through IO table and you power cycle the PLC, the bit is set off again. Turn the bit on in your program, e.g. |P_On|-----------(CIO2000.00) +24V to A9 and 0V to B9 is ok, how do you measure on A1/A2? Best is to take off output wiring and put your loop tester directly on the terminals.

Hi...these are always very difficult problems. Seems like you have different issues, one being CX-Server is somehow messed up, other CX-Programmer seems to have a problem on its own. The problem with CXP might be that there's something wrong or missing related to the Component Profile Sheet. It needs such a CPS file for every product to correclty display and process its specifics. When this file is missing I have experienced CXP to crash however I would usually get an error. You can try having a look here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\OMRON\Profiles\CPSFiles I attached the CPS files for CJ2H-64 from my disk. Extract them in this folder and see if it helps. For this reason it's good practice to run CX-One from VMware. It allows you to easily roll back to a healthy base when you run in to problems. CPS CJ2H-CPU64.zip

Depending if Wonderware has a native Omron driver or not, it will surely support OPC as an OPC client. You can use an OPC server like Kepserver from Kepware to communicate with the PLC.

I don't know what VCTF is. Where will you be using the cable for and is it related to Omron networks? Else we can move the post to the general section where you might get more replies.

I cannot download your document. Zip it and directly attach it to a post.. The most common problem with analog outputs not working is that the output conversion start bits are not set in the user program. Have you turned on CIO bit 2000.00? It's the output conversion start bit for analog output 2001. (2000.01 for 2002, 2000.02 for 2003, etc). If this bit is off you can set a value on the output adress but the output will not do anything.

Thanks for getting back! Glad it worked for you.

Hi I must admit I have never used the translation utility with NT touchscreens. Have you read the manual? I had a quick look and as I understand, in the end you generate a language specific *.mmi file where the selected language is already processed in all strings etc? Can't you just open this *.mmi file in NTST? Appendix D - Translation Support Utility.pdf

Glad to be of help. Good job!

Yes, true. Forgot to mention this!

Could be something simple as running the computer setup... Have not used Citect after V5.5 but remember if you didn't check Trend Server at computer setup your trends wouldn't run.

Below is what I used to detect registered but offline EIP nodes. It gives you 64 true connection failure bits in W501 - W504 CIO words are for unit #0, for unit #1 you would use 15xx + 25 words.

Glad it worked for you! You can always get the latest version of CX-One remover here: http://www.omron-cxone.com/utility/ It's being upated frequently.
-
Admitted it sometimes can be a absolute pain in the *** when having CX-One installation problems. Have you tried running the CX-One Remover program included on the CX-One disk in the utility folder?

If you use TIMX (binary timer), set the preset value with a decimal value (&100 = 10.0 sec) If you use TIM (BCD timer),set the preset value with a BCD value (#100 = 10.0 sec)

Have you set the current/voltage switch to OFF for input 2 and can you measure on B5/B6 what voltage you get?
-
Try setting Comms auto return to ON. Still, when any of the NS host goes offline, it becomes so slow to operate that it is almost unusable.
-
Did you power cycle or restart the MAD42 after changing the settings?

Glad it worked I have uploaded this fix on MrPLC : http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=1029

When the last version of NT Support Tool 4.85 is installed, Omron PT models with system versions 3.2/4.2 are missing, making it impossible to upload from a PT with this system version or open a *.onw file with this system version selected. This registry fix adds the missing system version to NT Support tool. Extract the registry files and double click the appropriate one (32bit or 64bit Win7) to add the registry entry. -
But this is included in the HDD copy of my folder you already have?
-
So I had a look in our central software database, and found a separate 4.2 system version file. We must have gotten it from Omron, I will see if I can find any correspondence. Download it and copy into the system program folder and it should work.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5ip6xnzcdhb393/OMR-M0A.31D?dl=0 edit: I just realized that this file was also in my HD folder copy of NTST you tried which didn't work...
