AB 1747-CP3 Configuration

I need to connect a SLC 5/03 with a computer with Wonderware installed. The communication is using the RS232 port in both sides. Can I use the AB 1747-CP3? Thanks in advanced for the help.

You can if the computer has a DB-9 connector. Or make your own cable: DB9F -> DB9F 2 -> 3 3 -> 2 5 -> 5

yes you can use 1747-CP3 or 1756-CP3 (it's the same cable) or you can make your own crossover cable as suggested...
