Hi can anyone assist me..had to replace a siemens et200pro fc and wondering g how I go about transferring parameters over from previous frequency converter..

What software do I need etc

Looking at the manual of that device, Starter software is used in the example.

Hati.. have download starter.. I need to upload parameters from old device and download to new device.. we have no interface cable to connect to front of device at optical interface port..

I'm only used to using profinet.. so can you maybe explain to to connect to device over start using profibus..

Here are the options to upload and dowload parameters to the drive. In your case the easiest seems the use of an MMC card.

You need a programming cable to connect to Profibus. The easyest option is to get PC Adapter USB A2. Then just plug it in to a Profibus connecctor and select from PG/PC Interface PC Adapter Profibus as the access point.
