Simatic Step 7 v5.6

Hello, 

   can you help me with this problem.

   I use Simatic Step 7 v5.6 with Starter 5.4 software and when I open project, the app show me following messages.

    One or more objects or a type cannot be represented,
   Server u7tstnax.dll for _U7T_UMCBOOTSTRAP_CT object ould not be loaded

 

   Thank you for help.

All other projects open?

and can you create a new project?

In the other project where are siemens drivers ( inverters, servos ), I have same trouble.

I'm not sure if this is your issue, but I've seen Simatic Manager choke on projects that were saved on another workstation that had an optional package installed that wasn't used in the project. If possible, get someone who can open the project to go to File -> Save As and check the box "With Reorganization". It will take longer than a normal "save as" but it is supposed to strip out references to unused software packages. Then see if you can open it.

I'd offer to do it for you, but I don't have the software any more.

He can’t even create a new project so I would say to reinstall Drive ES/Starter 

or at least I  asked if he could create a new one…..

 

I have all the software 

post it somewhere and I will try to open it

Hello,

   I have all software what i need. On the station where i have the troubel now, there they went to open the projects. 

   I ty to open thise project on the another station and there are all OK. The trouble is only in my PC station. 

   I reinstalled SW STARTER and Drive ES and situation is same.
