I am looking for the pinout of the Cable to interface the Pannel mate 1000 to a PC for uploading /downloading of programs

It is a standard serial cable. Should be able to find the pinouts almost anywhere.

Ken, It is a straight or NULL? I assume you meant NULL with a 2-3 ad 3-2 cross over correct? PS: bjclem, I like to go to this place: http://www.hardwarebook.net/ Has all the pin outs and stuff for everything from DB-9 to DB-9, DB-9 to DB-25 etc,etc... Excellent reference to keep bookmarked.

I'm pretty sure its the straight thru (verses the Null which gets you to the PLC's com1).

Panel Mate does not use the standard pins 2 and 3, as in RS-232C although it is null modem communication. I found the pin out on the book that came with the software to program the HMI. If you have the book you might check there.
