Dear All, Please refer to the attached trend, is that InTouch can provide multiple data in different day, but same time period? Or any third party software can do this? Thank you for your advice.

Hello, > can provide multiple data in different day, but same time period? Or any third party software can do this? PeakHMI can display the data it has collected over X days.

Geez, I normally use Citect and that can display data for years - depends how you set up the trend files. The other thing I like about Citect trends is the way they display them - the new process analyst has a facility to insert description blocks with arrows to a trend line so that you know exactly what it is without having to go and look. InTouch is clunky and have never used Peak or even had a look at it. Is there a decent evaluation version available? You can download full Citect and it runs for 2 hours I think before you have to restart it. Edited by BobB

Hello, >Is there a decent evaluation version available? Yes. The configuration mode runs for 2 hours and runtime for about 20 minutes. Both can be restarted. The download link as well as videos and demo projects are on our website. http://www.peakhmi.com/

The OP's graph is NOT typical because it compares the same signal from the different time periods. The most common display shows multiple signals over a common time base. The OP's graph shows the same signal, 6AM to 6PM for 3 different days. I have a similar requirement. Is the recommendation Peak or Citect based on displaying the same signal from different time periods, like the OPs request or do Peak and Citect use a common time base for different signals (a common method for HMIs). Hello, PeakHMI uses the system clock to time stamp the trend (data log) values. Each day, at midnight, it creates a new file for the next 24 hours for the data point. You can then select any point from any day and view the trend. For example, you trend the water flow for three days. You can then plot all three days in one trend graphic. Edited by Mark-

Hi, you could try Indusoft, the demo version offers a 30 Day full use period. The Trending can be done to a data base or .txt file and the runtime Trending applet can go back as far as you like. Options to offset the same tag back in time is easy to set up and pretty powerful. The have some great info on their website, videos etc.
