Percentage Loss Function

Hello, I am trying to find a function that will compare two data memory ares containing a product count. And if the lower figure drops below 3% it brings on a output. I have use the subtract binary function and compared the result to a figure I set in S302 but I wondered if there was a function that would do it in one go and I would then use the output to put up an alarm. Its for alerting operators to a high loss in production. Regards Peter

You really need to post more information. What is S302? Comparing 2x areas for the lowest is easy, as is turning on an output. Sounds like you need to be calculating the production loss always, then comparing with your 3% to set the output...
