Sorry all I posted this same question in lounge by mistake. Can anyone help me retreive a program from a Q2AS CPU S1. Not sure what soft ware or cable to use. Many Thanks Doppy

GX Developer and SC09 cable. You can get both from your local distributor.

Thanks Crossbow, all loaded up and ready, i tried reading from PLC but wont work then tried importing file and still cant communicate, which method is right.

Read from PLC is if you set the communication settings in Transfer Setup properly.

Make sure your communications settings are set to your Serial Port. This defaults to Com 1, which is what a built-in serial port would be, but if you're using a USB converter, you'll need to change it to whatever the converter driver set itself as.
