Hi just replacing a faulty e1071 with a new one and transferred project. aim not with the PLC but intend to plug in in the morning. After the project etc are transferred she come back to main/welcome screen, doesn't seem to be reconising the drivers that I specified which are com1 to controller 1 a series CPU. What am I doing wrong 3 hours latter please help. is it just that the plc is not connected?

Thanks Crossbow, all loaded up and ready, i tried reading from PLC but wont work then tried importing file and still cant communicate, which method is right.

Sorry all I posted this same question in lounge by mistake. Can anyone help me retreive a program from a Q2AS CPU S1. Not sure what soft ware or cable to use. Many Thanks Doppy

Hows it goin I am replacing a E710 with a E1071 touch screen. Can you tell how to bring the project across without losing the symbols etc. I had to upload the project on V6 and change using V7 before changing the terminal type. Thanks in anticapation of a comprehensive answer.

I meant its slow on serial compared to ethernet. Thanks a lot for your help Paul
