Upgrade C200H to CS1

8 posts in this topic

Hello whole mrplc family, I have a plan to upgrade C200H system to CS1. My current C200H configuration: 1. C200H-CPU01 2. C200H-RM201 + some G72C-VID16 + some G71-OD16 3. C200H-NC112 Plan to upgrade to new CS1 configuration: 1. C200HW-PA204 2. CS1G-CPU42H 3. CS1W-BC083 4. Keep C200H-RM201 (address change from [200] to [3100]) 5. Keep C200H-NC112 Have any problems? I have refered the CS1 catalogues: - First, look up old CS1 catalogue (Cat.No.P047-E1-1): C200H-RM201 & C200H-NC112 are supported by CS1 - Next, look up new CS1 catalogue (Cat. No. R090-E1-04): C200H-RM201 & C200H-NC112 are not supported by CS1. - Finally, open a new CS1G-H project with CX-P V7.11, look up O/I table: C200H-RM201 (SysmacBus Remote Master) & C200H-NC112 are supported. Please give me an advice. Thank you. Edited by nguyenthanhcanh

Looks like you have done your research. The Nc card will also have it's address change, your CS1 manual will guide you.

Yes, I have researched the manual but I am not sure because new catalogues and manuals of CS1 don't mention to C200H-RM201 & C200H-NC112

Hold on Canh, posts like this will only discourage users to help you out. No need to kick a topic that is only a few hours old. You seem to have planned the job quite well, so you must have had enough time to find this out earlier.... Just wait patiently on a reply.

C200H NC and RM modules are OK. You can always check this kind of thing by making a new CX Programmer project and then adding items to the IO table. Those items that are compatible will be listed as available to add to the IO table.
