I am having a hardware problem. Can anyone help? I am have no luck trying with communications between a PV+ and SLC5/04 on a DH+ network. I have a 2711P-RN8 adapter fitted to a PV+600. AB have checked out the software for both PLC and ME terminal and have verified it okay.

I want to add a PV+ 600 terminal to an existing system . This is a stand alone DH+ network with a SLC5/04 and a PV standard terminal. I have started the application in Factory Talk ME. But have got bit confused re: the comms. Also the tag folders, should the folder be named as the plc processor? Any help would be appreciated.

I have been using Factory Talk Machine Edition to download an application to a PV+ terminal via RS323 serial link from my PC. Now my Com1 port on my PC is captured and can't use RS Logics to program or monitor my PLC. Can anyone help

Thanks for that. Are there any problems which may occur by uploading from the PV 600 HMI using panelbuilder32. I don't have a backup and I don't want to risk my working HMI.

I need to create a PV plus 600 project from an existing PV standard HMI. I don't have a backup. What is the best way to go? Is it advisable to chance an upload and then convert?
