Guru Already data are coming to Rsview 32 using RsLinx. I would like to know that whether I can browse tags in RsView 32 through OPC like Kepserver which is installed in someother PC in same network. The basic idea is to get datas from Rsview 32 to wonderware. Sebastian C

Hi, I have some problems while getting datas from OPC server. I followed the same procedure that has been given in Help file. I am using Demo version of KepserverEx as OPC server.I have created a Topic name and Access name and created an Intouch tag. But when I go for Intouch runtime I have getting error cannot access the topic name with Access name. Also I get cannot start the application even though I have given the OPC name. Can I get a solution for this issue? Regards Sebastian C

Hi Fred, Thanks for the information. I am now able to connect Lab view with Intouch through Kepserver using FSGateway. I can pass Boolean Tags between Intouch and Labview. But if I configure analog tag using Kepserver the analog values are getting increment by itself. For example If I want to move some analog values of 50 from Labview to Kepserver to configured channel first instance it shows the correct values and then the value keeps on incrementing from 50 even though value still displayed in Labview is 50. Can I know from where the analog values keep on increasing? Thanks Sebastian C

Hi, I am working with Intouch 10.1 Ver. I tried to read datas from Intouch to kepserver for wonderware through DDE Client. I am unable to read the values in Kepserver. I am getting BadVartype in Item value during Diagnostics. Can anyone suggest me where could I be wrong. Pls advice Sebastian C

Hi I have a Ring frame machine installed by Zinser for one Spinning Industry. I have a controller with Phoenix contact I/O modules communicating through Interbus SST. I don’t have any information regarding the controller like CPU name or Part number. It would be great if anyone can get me details normally used for Ring Frame machine installed by Zinser. Hi. I have assigned Tags with Data Log functionality. I could able to view the Real time Trends but when I configure the Historical trend from Wizard selection I could not view the historical trends. I could able to view the dark screens without Time division and Value division when i go to run time. Also the time is not getting updated with system time. It is always in the time when Trend was created. Can you please suggest how can i go ahead. It would be great if I get any Trends configuration file.

Hi, I am working with project when i need to only monitor Analog Inputs, there is no control with that AI. I would like to know whether 1794 AENT point Ethernet module can directly communicate with OPC without a Controller. Also I would like to know how Analog Input modules connected with the 1794 AENT can be configured. Please help me on this

Hi. I am working for a project where 3 sets of Micrologix 1200 communicating with PV 550. Now I need to connect 3 Microlgix 1200 PLC to Wonderware Intouch (Centralised SCADA) using 1761 Net-Eni. In such case should I do any changes in port configuration in Micrologix 1200. The idea is that should I need to purchase RsLogix 500 for port modification and download with new configuration.

Hi. I have a Schnedier PLC of model Twido TWDLMDA20DRT . I need to communicate with Wonderware Intouch. It would be helpful if its possible to communicate to Wonderware through Ethernet Protocol b'cos in the network I have Allen Bradley PLC's which are communicating through Ethernet.

Hi Edda, You mean to insert one ethernet card for 20 numbers of S7-300.

The ML 1200 has only one serial port. PV 550 will not be there in the scenerio. We will go for centralised SCADA and PV will be removed.
