Manual for converting to pl7

I dont know intouch but they should either have a driver for codesys, or of they dont check if your controller and intouch has an OPC UA option
-
On a Schneider FAQ there is a similiar error mentioned. They also mention to repair installation but before this try running the application as administrator first.
-
If you right click on the cpu in the project tree then select assignment list. A new window will open which on the top right has a few tabs. Most info can be found under those tabs
-
From what I understand there is no way of doing this. Definitely cannot open the backup in TIA portal
-
Not getting great info on the web for this. But in theory you should be able to Create an OPC UA server in the tm241 and communicate that way with the comfort panel
-
Just one question. You mention Using terminal expert but this is software for the schneider hmi
-
263 is 26.3 degrees
You can copy the %mw1 into another register with a operate block and divide the new register by 10
-
I havent seen this myself but from what I found on the internet it looks like you are running Unity Pro without administrative priviledges.

Since you are in Denmark I would use a Secomea Sitemanager for the link and a Siemens Logo. The new logos have a webserver where you can graphically create custome webpages. Then the secomea will give secure acces via simcard to the logo which you can view with any device that can go onto the web

Hi
I have to agree with IO_RACK here. If you are on a vpn to the network then nothing is needed on the hmi side. You should be able to ping the hmi regardless of NAT settings.
I have a lot of schneider hmis that i connect to remotely (via secomea sitemanagers) and the only issue sometimes when downloading is if the internet is a bit slow or the file is very big then it may take 2 or 3 tries to get it to download. The secomea system is almost like a vpn. Did you enter a gateway address in the hmi?

In your 1st photo the run led is on, in the second it is off. So I presume the Run led is flashing. This means there is no program loaded in the plc, or it could just be in standby mode. Have a look what the diagnostic leds will show when a cpu is in standby mode

Generally you will need to use timers as not to create multiple reads and writes at the same times. Normally a quick timer will trigger a read to a device...once the done is received it will trigger another and so on.
2 people like this -
Have you checked in your cpu if your real time clock has an actual value in it?
-
Is this when you are online with the zelio? if so isnt it just indicating that the timer coil is on?
If this is not the case maybe its indicating that the timer has been activated and is busy timing but the coil is not yet switched on?
I dont see the same behavior on my zelio soft
-
It is a normally closed contact of Timer4

It would have been programmed with proworx32 or Concept.
Dont have my manuals with me to check if it is possible that a firmware update is possible with this cpu giving it the ability to work with Unity Pro (Now ecostruxure control expert), but I doubt it

What will the customer do with the graphic? Is it just data being displayed on the webvisu? If its data that he needs then I would rather use the ftp option and write data to an excel sheet.
If its just for the customer to see some things then he can just take a screen snapshot of the webvisu page
-
If you place it in another slot you will 1st need to change the hardware config in the plc software. Which will require a download to the plc again
-
Why i asked about what software for the plc you are using? In the ethernet ports options.....If you select the ethernet port..there is a option to enable the modbus server. This is a new thing on machine expert basic that caused me half a day of headeaches. It must be on
-
Few things to check. 1st of all what plc software are you using? Somachine basic or Machine expert basic?
Then are the ip addresses in the same range? What network cable are you using (colour codings on both ends of the plugs)? Modbus tcp slave should be sufficient driver.
And a really stupid question is something that happens a lot is are you plugged into the ethernet port of the tm221 and not the rs485 rj45 port?

The hmigx series from what I can find is a special series for the Indian market..And that market gives you some special code to unlock that HMI on Vijeo desinger....Vijeo designer prorgams it which is the same as most oldish hmi's from Schneider or Telemecanique. If you have vijeo designer there is some ways of programming printouts(Depends on the outputs you have...or ports). If you know the old line printing codes then it would be ok.. In vijeo there is a line feed printer section under the forms and reports section. Its still a pain to get it to work...because I dont know the the print per line.that well. But I have done some printing direct to zebra or brother printers over ethernet with schneider hmi's . Schneider technical staff dont even know it to do it... Im sure some does but the rest I spoke to for 6 months dont know or dont care

The hmis should have different ip adresses and device names. And they also should have differently named connections to the plc.
