Check your cable. Pin 4 & pin 5 on RS232 port side must be shorted for ready.

Check Hostlink port --> Mode: RS232C and DIP switch 5 must be OFF, PLC in RUN/Monitor mode. How about COM light?

I have just install Finsgateway for my project on a computer with WinXP Pro SP1 English version (Japanese fonts installed). After installation, run Finsgateway. Oh, but it's language is Japanese. Some tag name or variable name couldn't show correctly and couldn't run any UNIT because of English Windows. When install Finsgateway, can't select language, so up to me, only one way install a new fresh Windows OS. Can anybody help me without installing a new Windows OS?

It's ok. Change formats at Regional and Language Option from Japanese to English and then re-install Finsgateway. Thank BobB

Hi! I know either CX-Programmer or CX-Supervisor use CX-Server for communication with PLCs and external devices. It has a broblem when communication with COM port in 2 cases: 1. Use real COM port (on board or PCI card): if comm. at serial side fail and after the fault is overcome, comm. re-established automatically --> ok 2. Use virtual COM port (USB --> COM or Ethernet --> COM): if comm. at serial side fail, operation as case 1. But if USB or ethernet is disconnected, CX-Server can't reconigze COM port and can't re-establish again even USB or ethernet re-connected. --> can't use for the project. Do you have a solution to re-establish comm. automatically?

It's belongs to Startup mode: set it to RUN or Monitor and transfer to PLC (notice: when transer PLC must in program mode), turm power off and then turn on again, PLC will RUN at startup.

Hi! On new PLCs (CPM*, CJ1, ...), of course, can force multi-bits at the same time. But on some old PLCs (C500/C1000H), only force a bit at a time. Anybody knows that why? Thanks.

NS-series with ethernet support, can it connect to a PLC with long distance about >100m (150m, 200m, 500m, ...)? If have, pls show me PLC models and how to do this.

Hi! I try dino's program. When SYNC execute, both 10.00 and 10.01 light. If input frequency from high-speed counter is 0Hz, no signal at outputs. If input freq. greater than zero, output 10.00 will flash followwing input with scaling factor.
