CS1D CPU + ETN21 reading Modbus TCP address

8 posts in this topic

Hi All, Can I check with you all guru, I'm having a CS1D-CPU65H together with CS1W-ETN21. I'm trying to read a BTU meter which uses Modbus TCP protcol. As CS1D doesn't support Function Block whereby I could use those Open/Close TCP Socket Service FB. Could anyone help me on this to read from the meter using the ETN21? Any sample program which could share with me? Really appreciate the help. Thanks.

Change out the processors? Before the newer processors became available I used a Red Lion translator to translate between FINS and Modbus TCP. Worked a treat.

The SCU setup has a Modbus slave selection. Number, speed etc. FBs are required for Modbus TCP.
