  1. Hi All, Can I check with you all guru, I'm having a CS1D-CPU65H together with CS1W-ETN21. I'm trying to read a BTU meter which uses Modbus TCP protcol. As CS1D doesn't support Function Block whereby I could use those Open/Close TCP Socket Service FB. Could anyone help me on this to read from the meter using the ETN21? Any sample program which could share with me? Really appreciate the help. Thanks.
  2. C200H ME831

Hi All, Would like to check, I'm using a C200H PLC + EEPROM(ME831). Recently, the machine was not able to run and we found that the ladder program was not in EEPROM after we try to download it. Can the current ladder program that stored in the EEPROM be retrieval? We're more concern to retrieve back the program, which we didn’t made any backup. Please kindly advise. Thanks Regards Melvin
  3. FTP using NS5 with ethernet port

Well, no PLC is connected to the NS. Have downloaded "Filezilla" and upload files via FTP, was successful to display on NS, but NS data block only allow 12 characters (8+3 format) whereby the KM50 output file is 10 character and KM50 output is unable to change its file naming convention hence using CX-Supervisor to write a script to update another excel file which the Data Block Table could read so when every there is an update on the KM50 file, it will pop over. Now the problem is it would not overwrite the existing file in the NS memory to the latest .csv file. Is there a function to this? Thanks for the advise.~ Attached pic on the left side denotes PC file whereby the right denotes NS memory files.
  4. Hi All, Would like to check if anyone have tried using a NS series HMI with build-in ethernet port to grap data from a PC which has a .csv file and display it onto the HMI. Scenario: 1) KM50(Power Meter) keeps updating a .csv file every 5 mins which was created on the PC its power consumption value. 2) Touch screen goes to this file directory created on the PC via ethernet port to display its instance value, real time from the csv file. Can this be done? Tried using data block table but it could only display value which it have already been created and not updating it every 5 mins or so. Thanks for the advise. Regards Melvin
  5. KM50 Power Meter to NS5

Hi PdL, Tried but failed. Regards Melvin
  6. KM50 Power Meter to NS5

Thanks PdL, I just found the cause is that KM-50 uses 32 bits addressing Modbus extended while NS uses normal 16 bits addressing. Hence unable to support. Arrr...
  7. KM50 Power Meter to NS5

Hi All, Would like to check if any one have connected a Omron KM50-E Power Meter to a NS5 HMI to display its value. The KM50 signal is using a RS485 output therefore it is connected to a CIF11 converter to the NS5 touch panel. I'm trying to read the Instantaneous Value Level therefore under CX-Designer, i have keyed in the address as: HOST3: 400001. (As shown in pic) Once completed downloading, the touch panel gives me an ERROR: "Timeout Error Occurs while downloading the data. Allocation HOST: HOST3 MRES=10, SRES=04" Or if i change the address to HOST3:400002 Its error would change to: "Addressing Error exist in the screen, Alarm, data log or Marco. Screen Number: 0 Allocation HOST: HOST3 Allocation Address: HOST3 400002 MRES=11, SRES=04" Anyone could help me with this? Thanks for the guidance. Regards Melvin
  8. Hi all, Would like to know how many point based on 1 second per point on the data logging graph can a 512MB card hold up to? Appreciate the help... Thanks in advance~ Regards Melvin
  9. Saving Data Log format

Hi All, I'm trying to save the data log file into trd00.csv file using my HMI. I would like to check with you all that can i change the Data Memory address to Name saved? (Pic attached) I have tried the data group setting and address setting under the Data log Graph, but it seems that i can't save its name instead of address. Thanks for the advice.. Regards Melvin
