  1. slc 1500 to omron hmi ?

Take a look at Appendix A of this Getting Started Guide for Omron NQ terminals: http://downloads.ind...tartedGuide.pdf Appendix A-3-4 shows you how to configure your terminal for DF1 Full Duplex to communicate with a MicroLogix controller. There's also a pinout drawing for connecting to the MicroLogix's 8-pin mini-DIN comm port (fyi.. you will need a null modem adapter if using the PM02 cable). Verify both devices' comm ports are configured the same. Reference Bob's link above for the MicroLogix 1500 user manual.
  2. If installed properly, the monitor will meet NEMA 4X enclosure ratings - you shouldn't need a protective covering. Make sure the gasket hasn't been rolled or over-torqued. Also, consider installing a breather drain/vent. Air pressure changes inside the cabinet can draw moisture in through the gaskets. Here's a link to a Hoffman vent: http://www.hoffmanon...6&itemID=174673
  3. If I understand you correctly, you're trying to pass-thru the PanelView Plus to it's serial port so that you can browse tags on your MicroLogix 1200. If this is the case, unfortunately you cannot do that. Since you have the single com port MLX1200, you will need to switch cables between your development PC and your PanelView Plus. You'll need to attach a null modem to your NC21 cable when you plug it into your PC.
  4. RSView ME on Windows 7

No 64-bit support yet. We're currently working on that, but unfortunately don't have a timeline yet.
  5. RSView ME on Windows 7

You will need to upgrade to 6.0 for Windows 7 support.
  6. RSView ME on Windows 7

FactoryTalk View ME 6.0 will support: Windows 7 Professional (32-bit)Windows Vista Home Basic and Business SP2 (32-bit)Windows Server 2008 R2 (32-bit)
  7. RSview ME help

Yes, you can use tag substitution. Although an even better method would be to just create one screen, and use parameters - assuming your controller tag structure is set up properly.
  8. Yes, it will be more efficient for the tags to be located in arrays in the CLX. Unfortunately you cannot build that same array structure for HMI tags in FTView Studio, but if you're looking to simplify the HMI tag creation, you can import and export tags to CSV file, and edit it in Excel. But just to note, using direct reference tags are more efficient for runtime performance. Take a look at KnowledgeBase AID 36270. This is an article highlighting best practices for HMI and direct reference tags.
  9. Use unscheduled. That way you won't need to use RSNetworx for ControlNet, nor will you need to mess with I/O configs in RSLogix or FTView Studio. Take a look at KnowledgeBase AID 32637
  10. PVP+ Datalogging

Perhaps rudimentary... but did you specify the data log model in your project Startup settings? Also, verify that the user you are specifying in your PVP has read/write access to the shared folder. Even though you may have specified an administrator account, it doesn't automatically grant you full control when accessing it as a share. Check the Share Permissions.
  11. Panelview Plus 1000

No, the trend will start over, but it'll use the data in your datalog to backfill the trend.
  12. Panelview Plus 1000

Unfortunately it has to redraw the trend every time you close/switch displays. It'll draw historical trend data if you have a datalog configured for the trend.
  13. Null modem adapter... never leave home without it!
