Micrologix Network Capacity

This is my problem I need to send some part count from a micrologix 1500 to a PC running a VB aplications, so i think that i can probabilty use the Micrologix Ethernet Interface 1761-NET-ENI . 1.- the pc should have the RS LINX ? 2.- How can i get the info from the micrologix using only the IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX Please help me!!! : helpme: Edited 30 Sep 2006 by geoorge

Your PC will need an IP of AAA.BBB.CCC.XXX and the NET-ENI will need an IP of AAA.BBB.CCC.YYY assuming your gateway is 255.255.255.0. The help in RSlinx shoudl describe using Linx to get data from Processor to VB. Also the download area has tons of DDE example code.
