HI, I am trying to do ethernet communication between PC & MITSUBISHI QJ71E71 Ethernet Module .I am using Q02HCPU (Q SERIES).I have settedThe IP ADDRESS 1for PLC:10.91.54.79. & for PC:10.91.54.218 sub:255.255.255.0.But I am unable to ping it from PC. Pls. tell me the other settings required.

Hi naresh, please, can you give more information about your parameter settings or if you are doing a direct connection (without switch) then use a cross ethernet cable.

What about configuration, remember to reset PLC after downloading parameters. Check head address.

before we elaborate on software settings, why don't you tell us how these devices are phisically connected? straight cable from pc to plc will not work unless pc has network card supporting MDI/MDX (only found on newer computers). in this case you might want to try crossover cable or combination of straight cables with switch or hub. if switch supports MDI/MDX then it wouldn't matter if cables are straight or crossover.
