ALMIGHTY79 liked a post in a topic: Q Series Modbus TCP module QJ71MT91 set up help req'd...

Yep, just like that. Maybe the server terminal may slover down a bit. As I recall, you do not need to type anything to PLC, depends of course you E700 program. Maybe you are reading the current page... There may be some limitations if you are using index register in message bank...

I know, I know. It is stupid to use IE7 (beta2), but seems that this forum is not fully compatible. Any help, why text are hidden when typing message?? I need to use +/- buttons to show/refresh my typings.

Yep, MT91 works as a master and I only have test it as a master, because we might need to use W-lan I/O and Modbus I/O is the way. I have type parameter by following example posted before. See previous example. It was great help to me. I think the whole set-up was too handy and only tricky thing was to count/select buffer memory to my I/O-output module. E-communication works OK with 4 connections according to example. Example is to GX-dev and I am planning to type FB's to IEC. PLS note, this is only my pre-test and feel free to develope this and share results. One thing I found, it is possible to access to PLC via MT91, if using ethernet-communication setting (=>FAST). Perhaps there is autoUDP-port in MT91 module like E71-module. Tmu MT91.zip

That is true. Note that there is not and (never?) will be such terminal like E600 in E1000-series. A bit difficult to find a new replacement.

Thanks guys, I got my Q02 &MT91 and E1070 working together with modbus TCP very well. I even got modbus I/O configured to MT91. Seems very fast, quite reliable and works through several ethernet switches. I do not have possibility to test with W-lan. I use GX-configurator MB. All this took only few minutes. Regards, Tmu

Next suggestion: Correct if I am in wrong tracks, but I had some problems with A-series, because system allways reserves 12-places (or was it 7)to main base unit. 1st extension unit is 13th. QnA and A are completely different systems... Have you tried to move DI/DO modules to extensions and use analog modules in main base unit? If this is configuration problem, try to read PLC I/O assigment data, if you haven't done that before.

Have U tried to reserve 32-bits for each? I expect those to be 32-bit cards. Most of QnA special communication A/D etc cards needs 32-bit?
-
Well done! Pls note that higher side of the counter goes to D11 ( I think?) =>32-bit value.

One malfunction is caused if you use PLS/PLFs in sub-program or inside interrupt programs. That is why I only use PLS/PLF in main programs.

Or GX IEC Developer 7 Btw, U can test communication with GX--developer FX demo (1000 step): http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=526. (40Mb).

Thanks, I bought Kingston 256 CF. No need to format. File system is Fat16, as expected. Works Fine with C1J and NS.
