Omron E3H-DS5B2 NPN or PNP?

Hello, Does anyone know what type this ancient sensor is? Is it possible to mix NPN and PNP sensors on 1 Input module on a PLC? Thanks, Andy.

The B indicates Solid State 3-Wire Output PNP Open Collector.
