Check Hostlink port --> Mode: RS232C and DIP switch 5 must be OFF, PLC in RUN/Monitor mode. How about COM light? Edited 2 Nov 2005 by nguyenthanhcanh

Check your cable. Pin 4 & pin 5 on RS232 port side must be shorted for ready. Edited 8 Nov 2005 by nguyenthanhcanh

In the sample files it appears the CPU Ready has an address of 329.05 rather than 392.05. I found this after I read the posting and followed the same instructions (i.e. dip switch 5 off, pin 4 & 5 shorted, etc). After I changed the address everything came together. At least it appears to working. Great forum. I'm learning a lot.
