Panel View with Automation Direct

I have a Allen Bradley Panel view and I am wondering if I can interface it with an automation direct PLC. I am not sure of the model of panel view but I would like to be able to use it and not have to buy an automation direct screen if i don't have to.

I doubt it. Allen bradley panels will only talk to an Allen Bradley, or so my experience has shown me. I could be wrong though.

Some of the Panelviews support Modbus, Profibus DP, and Devicenet (you didn't indicate which model you have, it would be important). So if AD supports any of those protocols there would be a chance they could work together. Modbus would be my first choice to track down. Edited 25 Oct 2005 by jstolaruk

Should also work with Ethernet/IP. Just use the assembly objects of the panelview
