Variable ASCII string receive problem

Hi, my configuration is: CJ1G-CPU42H + SCU41-V1. I can send and receive by port no. 2 on SCU41 (RS-232) constan ASCII string, but I can't receive variable ASCII string. How i can do it and how i can mov receive ASCII string to DM30000 for example. It's my configuration of cx-protocol and pmcr for send/receive constant ASCII string: Trace Sequence Message PMCR What should I change in receive message configuration, I would like to receive variable ASCII string and mov him to DM 30000 for example. I believe you would just change the "Constant ASCII" field to Variable.?

Firstly...don't move him to D30000, why, because this area can be used by bus unit cards...try something like D10000... Secondly see attached..... Thirdly look at this link ASCII generic protocols That Jay posted in the download section...
