Pumps and Tanks

I have (20) twenty tanks that can be filled from (16) pumps at any one time. The PLC system is not important. How can I control the pumps and know what tank they are going to without 320 rungs to compare what pump is going to what tank and vice-versa? This should get a good conversation going. Bob

Well I think the first thing to do is write down all the rules/procedures/etc. that govern how you want the pumps to operate. You'll need that in order to make a sensible decision
