Posted 13 Jul 2022 Not entirely Sysmac Studio related but has anyone looked at the Omron i4H / i4L SCARA robots? Is anyone thinking of using these? Some people within our company is pushing to adopt these but I think it's still premature. Especially not knowing what the take rate is with these and if anyone out there have experience using them. Personally, I don't want to take on another robot at this time. We recently started to use ABB 6-axis robots and I am still trying to learn to use these. Some people don't realize it's a problem to proliferate all kinds of robots and devices into the plant. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted 13 Jul 2022 I'm familiar with them. Bang for your buck they are great. Early adaptation is always unnerving to the automation guys but there is a lot of the Cobra technology inside which is a field-proven robot. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
