Wonderware is a very strong hmi, Our company prefers to use wonderware over othe hmi software. Good choice

Also look into GE Fanuc's Intellution iFIX. It's comparable to Wonderware's Intouch. I prefer to use it over Wonderware in a larger distributed application with numerous nodes. Also VBA is built into it's environment for scripting. So you can bascially accomplish anything VBA can as opposed to Wonderware, though InTouch is good for straightforward applications.
