Ping from HMI

Good afternoon - 

I would like to be able to ping a device from a Mitsubishi HMI.  Is it possible to do that using a script in the HMI, activated by a soft button on that HMI?  Has anyone done this, and what would the script be to do that?  I am using GOT2000 and GOT Simple.

you can ping via the ethernet status check function in the maintenance menu of the GOT.
