M241 Web visu

Hi 

On a project using M241, the plc is working ok as expected till i tried to use its web-visualisation feature. Web browser (IE,firefox or chrome)  just can't access the url: ipaddr/web-visu.htm

• The ethernet connection worked because I managed to access its login.htm as well as the ftp service with the exact same ip address.

• I have checked and enable the webvis protocol in the ethernet 
  properties
• The webvisu worked ok within the SoMachine program.

• I have updated the software and its component all to latest version.

• I even attempt insert the  command: https://forum.codesys.com/viewtopic.php?t=6352

But all in vain. Do any1 have any experience to give me some advise?

Everytime i have had issue with this it was either the antivirus or i had to install older versions of java

Thanks for the response, I dont think it is Java or antivirus because the default webpage works, I just cant navigate to the webvisu.htm page (404 does not exist).

I have a suspicion that this feature is not supported by all (if any) M241's

I have done webvisu with m241 so it is supported

Will post my settings for those projects

did you add this option to your project? And what are you entering as the url name in web browser?

Yes, I have configured the visualization manager with web visulization.

The link I use is 192.168.1.125/webvisu.htm#

I get 404 (file not found) error.

If I just type 192.168.1.125 I get the defaut webpage (M241 overview and diagnostics)

I have attached my visualization config.

This is my first venture with SoMachine so may have done something very stupid.

I think your problem lies in the address you are typing into browser.

Should be 192.168.1.125:8080/webvisu.htm

8080 is the port number used

Thanks for the help.

I had tried 8080 before without success.

I then tried changing the browser (was using Edge) to Chrome.

Now it works....
