CX-Simulator

4 posts in this topic

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to use Cx-simulator and Cx-programmer to work with a virtual PLC. I mean, I have heard that for using Cx-Simulator it needs to be connected to a real PLC. Is that true? And also What is CX-One?? It's a new product or is a marketing name for the last Cx-programmer, Cx-simulator, etc. Thanks a lot and best regards, cronos

No CX Simulator Simulates a plc. You can add any of the modules on and do just about anything a real plc can including connect your vb I believe (havent tested it yet)

I actually have the program and it's a gem to own. You don't have to have a real PLC available just the knowledge of what you want to accomplish with the desired functionality of the project in questioned. Like adding different types of modules such simulating analog IO and others. But the software only simulates CS1 units as well as it's counter part CJ1 PLC's. Hope this is what you needed to know.
