NJ/NA Program upload using only 1 connection.(USB)

is there a way to upload both NA and NJ programs using only 1 connection? Sysmac Studio->USB->NJCPU->Ethernet

same with Mitsubishi's transparent mode?

Not over USB.  And you have transparent mode backwards.  You can connect to Mitsu HMI and tunnel through to PLC, not the other way around.

If you use Ethernet, you can program both over one connection.

with no luck i cant sync my controller via HMI

here's the connection

my sysmac studio is currently connected on my HMI (NA5) via "ethernet direct" on port 2 and the hmi is connected to the controller via ethernet at port 1. controller and hmi connection is OK. sysmac studio and HMI "online" is ok. but i cant online my controller.

sysmac studio version 1.13

what am i doing wrong here?what connection do i have to use?

He did not say that you could go through the HMI. He said that if both the HMI and the NJ were on Ethernet, then you could connect to both.

If the following is true, then you should be able to establish comms:

1) Your NJ is connected to the Ethernet switch

2) Its IP address is set to 192.168.250.1

3) Your laptop is on the same network

4)  The IP Address of the laptop is 192.168.250.*** where *** is a unique number, not equal to 1 or some other number on the network

so you mean to say there's no "transparent mode" feature on sysmac?
