Hello to all!

Kindly provide me

1-Download link for RS logix 5000 v7.2 .i have a program which is designed in old version of Rs logix 5000 and i m unable to open it on v20.0

2- ControlLogix 5550 1756-L1 controller Serial Cable pinout [plc to pc]-Programming cable

For a version that old you may have to contact a Rockwell distributor.

Or contact Rockwell Tech Support.

Do you want to open the PLC program or do you want to go online?  If you want to go online, you will need to contact A-B and get a download of Logix 5000 Ver. 7.2.  A-B's website has Ver. 10.07 as the earliest Logix5000 download.

The other option is to update the firmware in the PLC to support the newer version of Logix5000 you have, which is the option above CHANGE CONTROLLER.  But be very cautious about this.  Research the steps to make this happen as you can render your processor unusable.

You won't be able to update an L1 to v20 so you'll need to contact your distributor for an older version of the program.
