C200H Error

5 posts in this topic

Am in the process of starting to replace old C200H system with CS1. The existing C200H has the error light ON. Online with CX programmer indicates #00C0 error. Manual states an "Error has occurred in the bus line between the CPU and I/O Units" on rack 0. Have removed ALL I/O modules and one by one replaced each one to try and identify which I/O slot is faulted. Still am getting error. Any ideas?? Stumped.

There are four identical systems at site. Three are working and one shows I/O bus error. Swapped CPU's in two systems. Problem remains on original rack.

Is it a clean environment?? Do you have a spare I/O rack to try?? Those old rack systems can be compromised by something as simple as a small wire clipping that has made its way into one of the card sockets.
