ML1400 ENET MSG Word Problem

3 posts in this topic

Happy Easter All... I have "2" ML1400s tied together via ENET. Im sending data from Controller A to Controller B with N7 (Integer Values). I have the MSG (Write) instruction configured for 10 elements which is way more than I need. I can see the MSG instruction executing and the DN bit toggling as well. The problem is IF I just send bits (i.e.. N7:0/0 etc., etc.) it works fine, but when I send a decimal number (i.e... N7:2 etc., etc.) it does not work. Any suggestions..?? Thanks, Mark Edited by PortenoSuenos

The bits-versus-words difference cannot be the problem. Data is always sent in 16-bit words when you use a MicroLogix to MicroLogix message to transfer Integer data files. Check your source data and destination data tables carefully for conflicts or overlaps.
