Profibus Between siemens PLC and premium PLC

Greetings Can the Profibus network ? Schneider Premium PLC with TSXPBY100 Module was selected as Slave? I'm going SIEMENS PLC (S7-400) as master and Schneider PLC as Slave tanks

Morning, The PBY100 is master only. Maybe you could use a DP/DP gateway but i'm not sure it could work. Maybe you could try a Communication in Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP/IP, on the Schneider side it will be easy, more tough on the Siemens side but they have some solutions. JC

PBY100 is master only!!!. Use Profibus Gateway from Anybus or take CP434-1 communication module for S7-400 and use Modbus TCP.

I suggest it is better to use Modbus at Schneider side and DP at Siemens side . You can easily configure S7-400 as Profibus DP master using Simatic Manager and most of S7-400 CPUs have DP port.( you do not need to buy separate Siemens module for DP network in this case). You can also configure Schneider side as Modbus TCP (Or Mobus RTU) and with a Modbus - DP converter, you can connect two networks to each-other. You may use GW-7553 as DP converter which allows the PROFIBUS master to access the Modbus TCP devices very easy.
