Posted 11 Apr 2014 Hi all I want to read the Program from an A0J2 CPU, but with GX Developer is not possible and now I'm trying using Medoc but with no Success. Please does anybody know which is the appropriate cable for this PLC SC-09 Does not work
Posted 14 Apr 2014 Could you take a picture of the prog cable socket on the CPU? Just for looking at the connections? I don't remember exactly but I think you need an adapter cable for this CPU...
Posted 14 Apr 2014 I think you should use the SC-Q cable on that CPU. SC-09 has a built in RS-232/RS-422 converter, SC-Q do not.
Posted 14 Apr 2014 SC-Q has a 6 pin round port, and I am nearly certain that's not what is on the A0J2. I believe it was a 25-pin connection.
Posted 14 Apr 2014 Yes, you are right. I was reading Q02, perhaps time to buy reading glasses
Posted 15 Apr 2014 You need to use SC09 cable with Medoc software. But It only support Windows 98 OS or below. You probably need the Windows 98 OS laptop with direct serial communication port. Or you can try to install the Virtual PC with Windows 98 OS.
Posted 15 Apr 2014 Medoc is as mentioned only supported on Win98, however I've tried installing it on Win7 32bit and it installs fine... Where do you problem occur when trying to read from the PLC?
Posted 15 Apr 2014 Medoc software able to be installed in Windows 7, but cannot communicate with the PLC online except Windows 98 or below. I had tried to use Virtual PC software and Windows 98 OS and communicate it with A0J2CPU successful.
Posted 15 Apr 2014 Sorry, but fully able to communicate with PLC in my case, using both physical serial port or USB serial converter using Win7 32bit and Medoc
Posted 15 Apr 2014 That's great if can directly communicate with Win7, but i failed to communicate it by using Window XP few years ago. Probably the new Windows OS or new Medoc version already settle the problem.

Posted 28 Apr 2014 Try googling MEDOC V2.41 It's a 32 bit version that works with XP. Not sure if I should have said that or not .......
Posted 28 Apr 2014 Mitsubishi's US website had it in the downloads section as a free download so I think it's public now. But that was 2.30, the last release officially from Mitsubishi.
