Someone told me it is possible to change how the in's and out's are displayed. Instead of seeing I:0.0 I could have IN0, IN1, etc. I usually label my in's and out's IN0, IN1 etc. cause it is to long of a name I:0.0/0. How do I change how they are displayed, if that is possible.

What PLC and what software are you using? without this information no one can give you a definitive answer. Alan

Its called a "symbol" you can choose to only display the symbol or both address and symbol. See picture Edited 2 Feb 2014 by Mickey
