HIMA First-Scan signal

4 posts in this topic

Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone here has handled HIMA's ELOP-II... In my current application, I need to initialize some variables with default values. In most PLCs there is a first-scan bit that goes high during the STOP->RUN transition; or at power-up. I couldn't find a similar signal in all of ELOP-II's help documentation. But surely there must be a way around to obtaina first-scan equivalent signal. I shall greatly appreciate if someone guides me with this. A million thanks for looking in. My PLC now is a H41 HiQuad Dual redundant CPU. But that shouldn't matter here..

Thanks Panic. This worked like a trice. Only thing HIMA does not have Ladder. So the equivalent worked in FBD. Over the years MrPLC has never never let me down. Regards to all you seniors there
